The first 35K is challenging but it gets easier after that. For all levels of rider that can manage the distance, we may break up into two or more pace groups. Flat or Hilly Hampton to Newcastle/Burketon

Meet at: M J Hobbs P.S., N/W corner of Taunton and King Lane in Hampton Date: August 4 Departure Time: 8:00 Tour Host: Cliff Ride Lengths: 80 km flat/82 km hilly Two 80 km rides, one is hilly, one is relatively flat (812 m vs 409 m). The hilly stops at Blackstock for a break, the flat takes a break at Tim Horton’s in Newcastle. Because some roads are closed for the Mosport long weekend race, the previous Hilly ride to Orono had to be heavily modified and is not as hilly. Cliff apologizes for the elevation shortage. Fall Time Trials and Ride

Meet at: All Saints Secondary School, N/E corner of Rossland and Country Lane in Whitby for Time Trials and Rides Date: September 25 Departure time for time trial and spectators: 9:00 AM Departure time for ride only: 10:00 AM Tour Host: Tom B. Ride Lengths: Ride Lengths: 7.8K for Time Trial, 46K for Regular Ride, 57K for Extended Ride Time trialers and spectators meet at the school (9:00 AM) and do a 7K warm up ride to Winchester and Cornonation Rd. where the time trial starts. Those wishing just to do the ride only (although we urge you to come out and cheer the riders on) can leave the school at 10:00 AM and meet up at Winchester/Coronation.
